Ken
Johnson, President & CEO
Mr.
Johnson is the founder of the Ken Johnson Group,
LLC. He has been a Minister of Music and a Church
Pastor. As a Business Manager, Mr. Johnson administered
church finances, taking a church from the brink
of bankruptcy to financial health. He has worked
with dissident congregation members to create harmony
in the church, and has worked closely with attorneys
in settling legal disputes. Mr. Johnson has been
involved both part-time and full-time in a wide
variety of worship settings in widely divergent
denominations, from Conservative to Liberal. |

Ken
has consulted with a number of churches during a
ministerial career that spans over 40 years. Ken
has written a number of articles that are currently
being published and is also in negotiations with
publishers for a book on the arts in the church.
Ken recently completed the Church Consultant training
from Church Central in Louisville, Kentucky. Ken
Johnson currently teaches Secondary Music Methods,
a Seminar in Education and supervises the student
teachers in the Denver University-Teacher Education
Program. He has taught music to students from K-College
level for over 25 years. He has consulted with a
variety of schools throughout his career to help
them begin and develop their music programs during
his 25 years in education. He has Bachelors and
Masters Degrees in Music Education and has done
further graduate study in Choral Conducting. Ken
has consulted with a variety of schools and churches
over the years helping them establish and further
their goals.

Leonard
Martin, PH.D
Dr.
Martin is currently the music director in a UPC/USA
church in Aurora, Colorado. He is also a lay pastor
for an assisted-living congregation. Leonard has
been involved in the church at a variety of different
levels over the past fifteen years, and has been
very involved in the church throughout his life. |

Dr.
Martin taught in the Colorado public schools for
21 years. This included teaching of both vocal and
instrumental music in kindergarten through grade
12, and marching band. He has also taught private
lessons on most instruments of the band for 38 years.
Over the past 9 years he has taught in the Teacher
Education Program at Denver University, developing
the entire music major program from the ground up.
During those nine years he consulted with schools
to help them begin their music programs. Over the
years he has written several works, including a
music theory text, a curriculum for licensure, and
articles published in periodicals or newsletters
dealing with the importance of music in all learning.
He earned a Bachelors and Masters in Music Education
and a Doctorate in Elementary School Administration.

Michael
Johnson, D.M.A.
Dr
Johnson is currently the head of the Contemporary
Christian Music, Vocal Jazz and Recording Departments
at Greenville College in Greenville, Illinois. He
is currently the Director of the Praise Team at
First Baptist Church in Greenville, having been
Minister of Music in a variety of churches in Colorado,
Florida and Arlington, Virginia. |
Michael
Johnson

Dr.
Johnson has been involved in church music for many
years, having begun writing music for solo performance
in the church in high school. He has been a guest
clinician and judge for a variety of programs in
Florida and Illinois. Michael has won a number of
Downbeat Magazine student music awards as co-producer
of recording and arrangements. He received his D.M.A.
in Studio Music and Jazz Performance in 1999 from
the University of Miami in Miami, Florida.

Chad
Johnson
Mr.
Johnson has played percussion and sung in a number
of Praise Teams, and has also written a number of
songs and arrangements for those same groups. Chad
runs a Percussion Studio where he teaches over 50
lessons a week and is in constant demand as a performer
throughout Colorado.
